What are "Sale" items?  Top
Sale items are first quality products, not seconds or blems unless noted in the description. These are products that we were able to acquire at a special price and we are passing our savings on to you.
There is often a limited selection (weights, colors, etc) of these items. If you don't see what you are looking for in the Sale section, please look in the normal product listing pages for all available weights, colors, etc.
What are "Pre-Order" items?  Top
Pre-Order Items are products that are scheduled to be released soon. The release date is noted on the product list and product detail pages if it is available. If you purchase a pre-order item, we will ship it as soon as we receive it, usually the day of or day after the release date. You will be charged for the pre-order item at the time that you make the purchase.
What shipping options are offered?  Top
We offer all the shipping methods available to us through UPS, not all methods are available to
all Addresses.
If free shipping is chosen, we reserve the right to ship via the United States Postal Service
if the total weight of the order is 10 lbs. or less.
If you choose an expedited shipping method, we will make every effort to ship the item the same
day; however there is a chance that it could take 1 to 2 business days to get the shipment to UPS.
In order to fill your order in the quickest way possible, we may have the order shipped directly from the manufacturer. If we do this, it may be shipped with a method other than UPS or USPS.
How is shipping cost calculated?  Top
Our shipping costs are based on weight and destination using real time rates from UPS. To see the weights assigned to items please refer to our Shipping Info.
Free shipping is offered to addresses in the continental United States. If the order is to be
shipped outside the United States, Canada, or Mexico, please call (515) 490-9232 to get a
shipping quote.
When will my order be shipped?  Top
Orders received before 2:00 pm CST will be shipped out the same day if they are in our
local warehouse. All orders will be shipped out within 1 to 2 business days, we make every effort to
ship out orders the same day that we receive them. If for any reason we cannot process your
order within 2 business days we will notify you via phone or email.
How long will it take to receive my shipment?  Top
We use UPS Ground shipping, so you should receive your purchase within 1 to 7 business days.
UPS Ground shipping is free, but you have the option to select an expedited shipping option
during checkout. If you select an expedited shipping option, we will make every effort to get
your order shipped the day that we receive it, but it could take 1 to 2 business days before it
gets to UPS.
I have made an order, but when I look at my order history, it says the status of my order is "Processing". What does that mean?  Top
This means that we have received your order, but it has not been shipped yet. If we are not
able to completely fill your order for any reason, we will contact you via phone or email
within 1 business day to see how you want to proceed. Once your order is shipped, the status will
change to "Shipped" and you will receive your tracking number(s) via email. Your tracking numbers will also be in your order history once your order is shipped. Note: If you paid via PayPal Express Checkout, that transaction is maintained in PayPal and the order will not show up in your order history.

There is a good chance that our emails are being blocked by your email software/provider.
Please check your junk email and spam folders, and make sure that your email allows emails from bowlingballdiscounts.com.
Is my credit card information safe?  Top
We Process payments through Paypal, they require that our server is using SSL 3.0 or higher.
When information is sent to Paypal, it is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 128
bits (the highest level commercially available). We do not store your credit card information
other than the type of card you used and the last 4 digits for your reference. Once your
payment information is sent to Paypal, it is stored on their servers and heavily guarded, both
physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card number, they do not directly
connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet.
Why is my credit card getting declined during checkout?  Top
It is possible that the billing address that you entered does not match the billing address for
the credit card. If you have confirmed that all the billing information is entered correctly
and you still have a problem, please call us at (515) 490-9232 and we can try to process it
over the phone.
Why did I only receive a portion of my order?  Top
There are instances where we will ship your order in separate shipments. We do this so that
you will receive the items that you ordered as soon as possible. Some instances where we may
break your order into multiple shipments are: 1.) If you have ordered multiple items that
could not be bundled together. 2.) Part of your order was at a warehouse that we couldn’t get
to before our daily shipping pickup time.
Please log on to your account to check the status of your order, and your order tracking
number(s). If something was separated into more than one shipment, you should have received
multiple tracking numbers in your confirmation email, or multiple confirmation emails. Note: If you paid via PayPal Express Checkout, that transaction is maintained in PayPal and the order will not show up in your order history.
Where do you get the equipment that you sell, is it first quality?  Top
The equipment we sell at BowlingBallDiscounts.com is the same as the equipment you get at any
pro shop. We get some of our equipment directly from the manufacturers and others through
wholesalers. Unless specified, our equipment does not contain any factory blems and is new and
unused.
Do you offer ball drilling service?  Top
We do offer ball drilling service if we have your specifications on file, or if you can supply
us with a ball to copy or send us your specifications. If we have not drilled a ball for you
before, we will want to contact you by phone to make sure that we get everything right and
don’t have any misunderstandings.
We take ball drilling very seriously and will only drill a piece of equipment if we are
extremely confident that we can give you what you are expecting.
Is my customer information shared with any third parties?  Top
No, we take the responsibility of protecting customer information very seriously and
will not share it with anyone.
What type of payments do you accept?  Top
We offer multiple payment options.
Credit/debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and debit cards with the
Mastercard or VISA logo.
Paypal: You will see a Paypal option on the checkout screen.
Are there any hidden costs for my order?  Top
No. We do not charge any handling or packaging fees, and with our free UPS ground shipping to
the continental United States the price you see is the price you pay.
What is the easiest way to find a particular product on the website?  Top
If you know the name of the item that you are looking for, you can use the Search box on the left side of the screen. You can also use the menu bar that the top of the screen and select either the main category such as "Balls"
or the particular brand under the "Balls" menu. Then you can Narrow your results by performance,
coverstock, etc. using the "Narrow your results" box at the top of the screen.
Do you store my credit card information so that I do not need to enter it every time I check out?  Top
No, BowlingBallDiscounts.com does not store your credit card information. We value your
privacy and want you to have the peace of mind knowing that your credit card information is not
stored.
When I place an order, how is my credit card information protected?  Top
When you check out, you are on a secure webpage (indicated by the URL starting with "https"
instead of the normal "http" and the small lock icon at the bottom of your browser). We use
SSL Encryption and when we pass your credit card information to our Merchant Bank everything is
encrypted using 128 bit encryption. Once your credit card information has been sent, we do not store it so there is no
chance of it getting stolen from our system. However, we do store the card type that was used
and the last 4 digits of the card for reference purposes. SSL is the standard for internet
commerce.
